Our Story
Shamrock Catering Company established in 1994 is one of the most prolific and diverse catering companies in Hong Kong. Operating from a 6,000 square foot purpose built facility. It employs a team of highly experienced professionals and over 120 years of combined hospitality and catering experience, the company is well equipped to handle all types of services. These include but are not limited to sit-down lunches and dinners, cocktail receptions, opening ceremonies, and weddings, serving a diverse range of clients including multinational corporations, large law firms, banks, schools, the European Union, consulates, and the Hong Kong government.
In addition to its core catering services, With its extensive experience and facilities, Shamrock Catering Company is capable of handling large scale events with a capacity for up to 5,000 people in a single day and is known for its involvement in some of Hong Kong's largest sporting events including The Hong Kong Tennis Open, The Rugby 7s, Savills Corporate 7s, Red Bull FlugTag, Stanley International Dragon Boat and a large number of Music Festivals and concerts , providing catering for VIPs, crew, and fans alike.
The company is also recognised as one of the large catering equipment rental companies in Hong providing catering equipment for large outdoor events and festivals as well as restaurants and smaller catering companies.
In 2020 - 2023, at the height of the pandemic the company successfully launched 5 virtual brands under its Southside Eats Concepts, including Southside Pizza Co, Southside Rotisserie Chicken Co, Southside Hot Dog Co, and Southside Curry Co. These are now some of the best performing delivery food concepts for both food panda and deliveroo selling almost 6,000 meals per month across these brands.
In 20017 - 2023, the company successfully entered the busy Junk Charter business and secured partnerships with several of the largest yacht and junk charter companies to provide its catering services. In 2022 we provided yacht and junk catering to almost 200 charters during the season. The company continues to grow this part of the business and as of 2023 is currently adding another six charter partners offering its catering services.

2016-2023 - Education sector.
The company has successfully been providing a school meal service to several international schools from 2016 providing over 4,000 meals per month to both teacher staff and pupils alike. The company continues to expand in this area with several more international schools interested in supply contracts.

1994 - Satisfying the workers
Shamrock Sandwich Company was established. We delivered quality sandwiches to “hungry” office staff.
1997 - Formalities
With 25 members of our staff and a delivery network of over 300 offices daily, the company was formalized as Branston Assets Ltd.
2002 - Corporate Solutions
Building from its fan base of satisfied office employees, Shamrock began catering for parties and events. Today the company has a reputation as “the caterer for all occasions. “ We cater for corporate or leisure, indoors or outdoors, for tram parties, junk trips, weddings, birthday parties, christenings, board meetings, expos, shows and sporting events, to name a few.
2005 - Backing Business
Crunch Ltd, a Western-style bakery service for the catering industry was established. In the years that followed, the company secured contracts to supply one of Hong Kong’s leading independent and wellness cafés with packed meals, salads, sandwiches and baked products. Today Shamrock supplies cafés, restaurants, clubhouses and hotels with a wide range of services.
2005 - Back to school
Shamrock Catering Group secured contracts to operate food kiosks at Quarry Bay International School and Christian Alliance International School, Hong Kong Academy, Delia School of Canada.
2006 - From Kids to Canapés
With its strong base in general catering, Shamrock began to provide niche catering services.
For children, Shamrock organizes bang up bashes with clowns, entertainers, bouncy castles and specialty equipment such as cotton candy machines and chocolate fountains.
For Corporate Shamrock established “Spoon Catering” to meet the growing demand for high-end catering services both, for corporate events and product launches weddings as well as corporate fun days.

2014 - International Event & Catering to the stars
Shamrock hits the big time with the big names; catering for international artists, big brand fashion shows and some of Hong Kong’s premier sporting events, including the Cricket 6s and Dragon Boat events, Beach 5s, Rugby 7s Village, Red Bull Flug Tag. Celebrity catering includes International artists as well as Hong Kong’s favorite son Jackie Chan and catering his star studded 60th birthday bash.
2015 - 2022
Despite very difficult trading and business conditions brought about by 1 year of social unrest and 2 years of the pandemic has grown both its business for equipment rental, corporate, and educational as well as its delivery business by adding 4 Virtual delivery brands as well as securing one more International school meal contract.
These virtual brands have now become some of the most popular delivery concepts on the Southside. Plans are now in making to add more locations.
